Cropwell Baptist Church accepts members in three ways...
1. By Baptism: For one who has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and desires to obey Christ by being baptized by immersion.
2. By Letter: For one who is already a believer in Jesus Christ, has been baptized by immersion after becoming a believer, and is a member in good standing of another Baptist church.
3. By Statement: For one who has accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord and has been baptized by immersion after becoming a believer, but is not a member of another Baptist church.
How do I let it be known that I would like to become a member of Cropwell Baptist Church?...
1. Come forward during a worship service during the invitation time and tell one of the Pastors or counselors that you desire to become a member of Cropwell by one of the three options listed above.
2. Speak to one of the Pastors at any time apart from a worship service or even after a worship service and he will tell you what you need to do to become a member of Cropwell Baptist Church.
Note: Being a member of a church does not ensure that you are a Christian (a believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ). Only by admitting you are a sinner in need of a Savior, asking for forgiveness, and committing to live your life fully for Jesus Christ are you a Christian. Making a public profession of faith in front of the church and sharing the testimony of your faith through baptism by immersion is being obedient to what is taught in the scriptures (Romans 10:9-10 click here to read this scripture).
